Mendocino Forest Products Community Scholarship

 

Who May Apply

Senior students who enroll in an acceptably accredited four year college or university, and who meet the scholarship eligibility requirements. The scholarship may be used at a qualifying school in the United States, and for any major or career that is chosen. Special consideration to students interested in our industry and community (including, but not limited to Engineering, Forestry, Biology, Business, Finance, and Marketing). We consider all majors, but do take into consideration intended majors during review.

Ineligible to Apply

Senior students who are dependent children or grandchildren of active or retired employees of the Company offering the scholarship to the community. These students may apply to the Employee Dependent Scholarship Program.

Eligibility Requirements

• High School senior students preparing to graduate who attend either a Mendocino or Humboldt County high school.

The Company reserves full discretion in determining qualification of school.

• Timely completion of the application process.

• Meet all requirements for entrance into a four year college or university. Students who enroll in 12 or more units a semester or quarter (9 units must be graded; not credit/no credit) will receive 100% of their semester/quarter scholarship.

Special consideration to students interested in our industry and community (including, but not limited to Engineering, Forestry, Biology, Business, Finance, and Marketing).
