* Let's Go Special O! The Eureka High School Special Olympics Basketball team will be hosting a tournament Friday, March 28, 2025. Wear RED and GREEN and join us in the gym during break and lunch and cheer on our Special Olympics Basketball players.
Club Announcements
- The "S" Club meets on Tuesdays in the Library with Mrs. Polizzi. Join us to participate in service oriented projects and empower women and girls in our community!
- K-pop Hip Hop Club meets lunch in room S104!
- Interact club meets on Tuesdays at lunch in Ms. Clower's room in M116! Please join us and get involved in our community!

General Announcements
- Save lives! The EHS blood drive is March 27th from 8:30 to 3, and you must be 16 or older to participate. 16-year-olds need a guardian signature to participate.
- Join us for a heartwarming and hilarious journey as the EHS Players proudly present Honk! The Musical! This award-winning, family-friendly show reimagines the classic tale of The Ugly Duckling with toe-tapping songs, colorful characters, and a powerful message of acceptance and self-love.
- The show plays in the EHS Auditorium on March 28, 29 & April 3, 4, 5 at 7:30 pm. with one matinee March 30 at 2:00 pm. $10 - Students, $15 - General. Don't miss this egg-citing production!
- Don't wait to pre-order your yearbook! They are $115 at the Finance Office. There are only 71 yearbooks left to sell, so get your book now before it's too late!

Did you know that Ella Fitzgerald, a widely known jazz singer, made history when she became the first African American woman to win a Grammy.
- Reduce 60 minutes! Detention is every Tuesday and Thursday in the Lecture Hall from 3:45 to 4:45pm. Students must stay for the whole hour and have school work to complete or a book to read. NO PHONES!
Sports Information
- Attention all incoming freshman and EHS students!!
Mandatory parent and athlete meeting, April 3rd at 6:00 pm in the EHS lecture hall. Tryouts will be April 15th-18th. Parents and athletes (both new and returning) must be present in the meeting. We will be discussing tryouts, requirements for our team, as well as expectations we have for our athletes, and handing out paperwork necessary to tryout, If you have any questions, you can message us here, or send an email to @ehsloggerscheer@gmail.com
- Your sports physicals are required! Start booking those appointments!!
- The Special Olympics Basketball Tournament is on 03/28/25 in our large gym from 9:30-1:15pm! Teachers are welcome to bring their class to support our team and watch this fantastic event. Students must be accompanied by a teacher or staff member to attend.
Senior
- Attention Seniors: It's not too late to submit your CADAA or FAFSA application! Financial Aid can be used for Trade Schools, Community Colleges and Universities. The priority deadline has been extended to April 2nd. If you need help completing it, one of our Cal-SOAP Success Coaches can help you and/or your parents complete it. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Counselor.

- Math tutoring is now available Monday through Friday in room M120 Before School 8:00 - 8:25 AM Lunch After School until 4:30 PM
Counselors Corner
- Are you interested in getting a degree in Engineering? Professor Eileen Cashman from Cal Poly Humboldt will be at EHS on Wednesday, March 26th during 5th period in the Lecture Hall. Come learn about their academic programs and career opportunities. This event is open to Juniors and Seniors. If you would like to get more information please contact Mr. Gomez in the Counseling Office.
