Social Science

3 Years, 30 Credits, 6 Semesters

World History/Geography, U.S. History, Government & Economics, or AP

Government in lieu of Gov./Economics.

Area A: 2 Years of Social Studies College Prep.

Includes 1 year of World History/Geography CP, plus 1 year of U.S. History CP or 1/2 year of U.S. History CP and 72 year of Civics/American Government.

English

4 Years, 40 Credits, 8 Semesters

Area B: 4 Years of English College Prep.

Math

2 Years, 20 Credits, 4 Semesters

Must include one year of Algebra 1 or Alg1A/Alg1B completion= Alg1

Area C: 3 Years (4 preferred) of Math College Prep.

Must include Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Math

Analysis, AP Calculus, and/or AP Statistics are recommended

Science

2 Years, 20 Credits, 4 Semesters

1 year of Biological and 1 year of Physical Science.

Area D: 2 Years (3 preferred) of Science College prep.

At least one year each of Biological and Physical Science is required.

Fine Arts

1 Year, 10 Credits, 2 Semesters CTE courses may be used to satisfy the diploma Fine Arts area requirement Ag Mechanics, Accounting, Welding,

Woodworking 1/2/3, Auto 1/2, Culinary I l Computer Programming.

Area E: 2 Years (3 preferred) of World Language other than English (must be same language)

and

Area F: 1 Year of Visual or Performing Arts College Prep.
